Becky Wilkinson was a Technician for the IDOT Bureau of Plannng, Divisions 5 and 6 from 1978 to 1983. She was a graduate of the Kendall School of Design, and an accomplished pilot who received her pilot’s license at the age of 16.

On September 25, 1983, Becky was killed in a private plane crash along with her father Bud.

Becky will be remembered by Local 916 members as one of the people who helped organize the Pro Tech unit (then called IPEC). She served as the Secretary/Treasurer of Division 6, and was active in developing its bylaws.

Upon her death, the Division 6 executive board established the scholarship fund in her honor.
